Sources report on detonation of IEDs in two houses in Derbent
The searches took place in the houses of relatives of members of the terrorist grouping "Southern". Two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) discovered by law enforcers were destroyed at the place, report sources from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan. Till present, the information has not been confirmed officially.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 16, in Naneishvili Street in Derbent, law enforcers destroyed an IED at the house of Abutdin Khanmagomedov who had sworn allegiance to the "Islamic State" (IS).
On February 18, Dagestani law enforcers conducted searches at the houses of the Abutdin Khanmagomedov's muslim wife Bes Sefibegova and relatives of Redjab Ismailov (according to the law enforcement bodies, he is a member of the terrorist grouping "Southern"). Explosive devices were found in both houses, the "LifeNews" reports with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan.
According to a Dagestani law enforcer, both IEDs were destroyed at the place.
Furthermore, the law enforcer has also reported that Bes Sefibegova was detained.
When law enforcers tried to defuse one of the IEDs, it detonated and completely destroyed the house; however, no one was injured, the "Chernovik" (Draft) reports with reference to its source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan. It was not specified exactly whose house had been destroyed.
